I'm Graham Jackson. Senior Engineering Manager and tech lead at a Fortune 500 company. Nearly 20 years in software, most of it spent building systems, leading teams, and making decisions with incomplete information.

This is where I think out loud.

I write about three things: AI and what it's actually doing to software development, the craft of engineering and what it means to build things well, and leadership when the ground keeps shifting.

Not here to sell you optimism or pessimism. Just hot takes and other observations from someone in the middle of it.
